Ben Johnson Has A New Toy On Offense As The Bears Pick Tight End Colston Loveland 10th Overall

I love two TE sets. Are they running or passing pre-snap? Nobody knows. Ben Johnson already has an edge right there.  Most people (those who don't know ball) had Ty Warren as the top TE in the draft. That guy is just a physical meatball. Not a precision route runner. Bears got their guy. 

There was a ton of smoke about moving up to #5 for Jeanty or Graham, but ultimately the Bears decided to stand pat. Now they can get their RB1 or help in the trenches with picks 39 and 41. Great spot. The draft wasn't great and the Bears, on paper, don't have as many holes as they've had before. Now they have another safety net guy in the middle of the field for Caleb. There are worse spots to be.
