Anthony Edwards' Monster Poster On Jaxson Hayes Is The Early Leader For The Dunk Of The Playoffs

It's certainly been an eventful day for Anthony Edwards. Earlier today, he was fined $50K by the NBA for talking about his dick to a Laker fan. Worth it? Who's to say really. What really is money when you think about it, ya know?
Later Tuesday night, Anthony Edwards would get back to his normally scheduled programming and provide us with what is without a doubt the early leader in the clubhouse for the Dunk Of The Playoffs. As the self-proclaimed record keeper of the Dunk Of The Year (shoutout Shaedon Sharpe), it is my job to also keep track for the postseason and in my professional opinion, so far nobody has come close to touching this
I don't want to be dramatic, but I think we're looking at a 10 out of 10 poster. A perfect score.
First, we examine the launch point. This is the foundation of every elite poster dunk. Did you take off from somewhere crazy and then fly through the air? For Ant, the answer to that question is yes.

We're off to a great start here. Tons of space, off two feet for maximum lift and power, that's the good stuff. Next comes evaluating what happens at the apex. Do you absorb all the contact at the top and them power through with a strong finish? The answer once again, is yes

At this point Ant had already cocked it back with two hands, so the anticipation at this moment was crazy. He met Jaxson Hayes at the top, took on the contact like it was nothing and got ready to bring the hammer. This next stage as you know by now, is the most important. It all comes down to the finish. Not only can you make the dunk, but can you do it cleanly? Can you make sure to get the rim so it's not one of those annoying "throw in" poster dunks and we can really appreciate it? Well….

Perfect execution. Made the dunk, has clear contact with the rim, this is about as ideal a finish to a play like this as you could ask for.
You want to find a flaw in it, but you can't. A 10 out of 10 from the gather through the finish, and the no doubt best dunk we've seen to start these incredible playoffs. Will anyone beat it? Shit, maybe Ant will outdo himself at some point. There's a whole lot more basketball to be played, so I don't think you can rule it out.
